Chutney powder

Chutney powder, also known as gunpowder or idli podi is a mixture of spices, lentils, and dried red chilies that are roasted and ground into a coarse powder to make chutney powder. Idli, dosa, and other South Indian morning meals frequently have it as a side dish. It may be used as a dip or spread by combining it with oil or ghee to get a paste-like consistency.
